A belt lipectomy is a procedure that not only improves the appearance of the abdomen but can reduce lower back pain and stress incontinence too.

Loose skin is one of the effects of losing a significant amount of weight. Patients who would  like to address excess abdominal skin, as well as elevate outer hip and buttock tissueit from a belt lipectomy. A belt lipectomy includes a tummy tuck but excess skin below the navel is addressed too.

To perform an abdominal surgery, a general anaesthetic is required. Once the incisions have been closed, a compression garment is applied to the treated area. This not only reduces swelling, but also facilitates the healing process.
